Katherine Semar Junior School choir & orchestra - Spring Showcase

On Friday 22nd March, the choir and orchestra presented a showcase of pieces to the Junior school, and later, to parents. This was a lovely opportunity to perform and share what they have been working on this term with Mrs Wheeler. The orchestra played confidently, and the choir gave the audience a preview of a larger work they will be performing in May, entitled “Yanomamo”. The concert also included some solo spots in which pupils performed on piano, flute and clarinet.
This was a joyful celebration of music making at Katherine Semar School.
