Ukrainian Fundraiser Events
Katherine Semar School recently held two fundraisers to help the situation in Ukraine.
Firstly a fundraising lunch took place on Thursday 31st March. The catering team led by Gungega Krastina cooked a Ukrainian dessert for the children to try.
Parents and carers then “brought a lunch to help Ukraine”. The children loved trying the dessert and have asked for it to become a regular on the menu!
The Junior Orchestra also held a concert, it was wonderful for the children to have the opportunity to showcase everything they have been working on this term. A collection was held at the end to support Ukraine.
Over £1250 was raised and this has been donated to UNICEF.
