Year 2 Visit Colchester Zoo
Year 2 had a wonderful time visiting Colchester Zoo on Thursday 14th October. We saw lots of animals that live in hot and cold climates and the whole day supported our learning about how animals are adapted to their environment.
We visited the meerkats (we didn’t see Sunny; he must have been off on one of his adventures) and had a workshop about habitats.
The trip was fantastic and it was a brilliant way to end our ‘It’s a Wonderful World!’ topic.
