Year 4 Visit Hindu Temple
On Thursday 8th July, Year 4 visited Bhaktivedanta Manor to finish their work on Hinduism. The children visited the shrine and heard how the Hindu religion came to be. They acted out being some of the gods and goddesses before trying on saris and turbans. A ride on an Ox cart and visit to the farm followed this. The children then enjoyed a delicious lunch of curry, rice, puris and chips before spending their money in the shop and having their faces painted. This was the first trip Year 4 had been on since they were in Year 2 and it was a wonderful experience for all involved.
