Year 3 Visit Colchester Castle
On Friday, Year 3 travelled to Colchester Castle. The children explored the museum's exhibits to find out more about the Roman invasion of Britain and how important Colchester was. We were even given an underground tour of the foundations of what was once the largest Roman temple in Britain, until it was burned down by Boudicca! The children also assembled their own Iron Age roundhouse and Roman villa. We had a wonderful time, please enjoy looking through our photos.
