Year 2 visit colchester zoo

We visited a multitude of African and Antarctic animals and had a very informative workshop on different habitats, which included looking at the types of animals that live there. Our favourite animals were the meerkats and penguins which helped us enormously to understand the different habitats they live in and how they have adapted. It was a fantastic way to launch our ‘What a Wonderful World’ topic and cannot wait to build upon our learning.
