Year 2 Mystery Royal Visit

A princess (on her way home) dropped her little wooden box in our wildlife garden and asked us if we could go and look for it. She said that if we found it, we could help ourselves to one of the treasures hidden inside!

Of course, we were happy to help and set off straight away to find the missing box. We eventually found it and had fun guessing what it might contain. As soon as we got back into the classroom, we opened it and found some seeds. We took one from the box and cannot wait to plant it to see what happens. There was also a torn off piece of newspaper. It looked like a piece from a wanted poster asking for ‘a real princess’. We cannot wait to solve the mystery.
