Year 3 Roman Day

The parents had done an amazing job as always in providing costumes so that the children could really get into the spirit of the day.  The day consolidated our learning about Roman invaders of Britain; including lots of information about Emperors, the Empire, food and drink and many fun facts that we gathered in the form of a quiz.

We learnt about life in the Roman army, their armour and weapons as well as practising our marching using Latin commands!

It was a super day which everyone really enjoyed. It was a great way to celebrate being back in school and learning together again.
