Year 4 Visit Saffron Walden Museum

On Wednesday 22nd November, Year 4 Elephant class visited Saffron Walden museum as part of their history topic on the Ancient Egyptians. For part of their visit, they were challenged to find certain artefacts based on clues and photographs from the different museum exhibits on display. Secondly, the children took part in an Ancient Egyptian workshop where they were able to handle ancient artefacts that were 2000-3000 years old! They even got to mummify a tomato.
