Grandparents Visit Year 1

To launch Year One's History based topic 'Toys-tastic' after half term, we invited older generation family members to be our visiting experts on toys in the past on Wednesday 6th November.

The visitors bought in lots of their own toys and photographs of themselves as children.   They then spoke to the children about their toy and other toys in their childhood and showed them how they worked. 

The children all loved speaking to the visitors, particularly about differences and similarities in toys over the years.  They were amazed by some of the old toys!  Thank you to all the visitors who came in.
