Year 1 - Chicks

Year One had a wonderfully exciting start to their Fur, Scales and Slime topic.  About three weeks ago, 6 beautiful eggs of bluey-green, brown and cream were delivered to school and the children have been counting off the days until they hatch.  So far, we have three gorgeous fluffy chicks of different breeds.  Fingers (and wings) crossed that they are all hens, not noisy cockerels, to add to our school flock.
