Year 1 Superheroes Topic Land

Year 1 have landed their ‘We are Heroes’ topic with lots of visits from our parents talking about their jobs. The children learnt about life as a doctor, police officer, scientist, firefighter, shop keeper and teacher. They had a visit from the fire brigade and got to test out their water squirting skills and climb on board the fire engine. At the end of the week the children dressed up as every day heroes or superheroes and enjoyed a range of exciting activities. The day ended with tasting their flapjacks that they made as part of their DT topic. The children have had a brilliant day.
