Year 3 Visit to Walton-on-the-Naze
Year 3 had a fabulous sunny day on the coast at Walton-on-the-Naze, to undertake fieldwork for their geography and science learning. They had the opportunity to climb the tower for a 360 degree view of human and physical geographical features, hunt for fossils on the beach, see coastal erosion effects and human structures to halt this, had a talk from a local specialist, see some interesting WW2 structures and, of course, undertake some fieldwork sketches.
Yet again, we had comments about the fantastic engagement and behaviour of our children.
