Year 3 Visit West Stow

Year 3 had a fantastic day at West Stow Anglo-Saxon village, despite the rain. The children enjoyed handling artefacts, discussing what their purpose could be, how they were made, what they were made from and then discovering if their theories were correct.  The museum and Anglo-Saxon village were also very interesting, and the children asked and answered questions with our guide in the mead house at the end of the day. Mrs Savill was approached by a very kind lady during the day, who was a retired primary school teacher, because she wanted to tell us how very impressed she was with the children's behaviour and curiosity.
