Year 6 Visit Saffron Hall

On Monday, Year 6 went to Saffron Hall, to hear the National Youth Orchestra perform Stravinky's Firebird! This orchestra is made up entirely of incredibly talented musicians ranging in age from 13 to 18. 

We were also treated to a number of other pieces which showcased the instruments in the orchestra. To hear a live orchestra of such a high standard, in our local world-class concert hall was indeed an exciting and inspiring way to start the Summer term.
