Lynx Class Assembly
During Lynx’s class assembly on Wednesday 9th November, they shared the wide range of fantastic things they have been learning about in the last ten weeks, linked to the topic of World War 2: fantastic poems they had created about the Blitz when Britain was bombed mercilessly by the Germans; History Off the Page day and a visit from Mrs Hancock (Mr Mercer’s grandma), experiencing what it was like to live during the war and sharing key things they remembered and their recent visit to Duxford, seeing Spitfires and Messerschmidt in real life and creating a documentary in small groups. Not forgetting, of course, sharing the fantastic activities they enjoyed at Norfolk lakes and school! What a great start to Year 6!
